Location:  Somerset, California, USA. We are 17 miles S of Placerville, between Sacramento & So. Lake Tahoe.

 
 

Come enjoy the peace and quiet of this spacious home located on five picturesque acres in the heart of Fair Play Wine Appellation and neighboring Shenandoah Valley wineries.

Above the fog and below the snow, nestled amongst the trees of beautiful El Dorado County (between Sacramento & Lake Tahoe), taste the "wines with an altitude" at any of the more than 25+ local wineries and 40 more within 20 minutes!

Perfect for a family or group getaway, it features 4 Bedrooms and 2 baths, a private pool, wood stove, TV & VCR, central heating / air plus a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. There is a fabulous wrap around patio with spectacular views and barbeque!

  
 

 

 

  
 

Activities for all seasons
There are numerous historic gold towns nearby that are full of wonderful antique stores and museums. Visit the American River in Coloma and pan for gold at the original gold discovery site "Sutter’s Mill", or see the original Thomas Kinkade Art Gallery in "Old Hangtown" (Placerville). Go white water rafting in the summer or skiing in the winter, or plan a trip to one of the many events like the Fair Play Wine Festival in spring or the Apple Festival in fall.

If all you really want to do is relax, enjoy the solitude of this beautiful mountain setting. There is a fabulous wrap-around patio with spectacular views. Enjoy the private pool, a game of horseshoes, or a short hike down to the seasonal creek.
